YOUR ORDER

All Klomp Ceramics items are unique, handmade stoneware pieces. Each piece is made and glazed by hand adding to its individual organic quality and character. Sizes, colour, shape and pattern may differ from piece to piece. All pieces when glazed are done so using lead free, food-safe glazes.

RESALE DISTRIBUTION CHANNELS

The Klomp Ceramics wholesale policy only applies to those who intend to sell our products in bricks & mortar spaces and through any online platforms other than www.klompceramics.com. We reserve the right to ask for information about and approve your intended distribution channel.

WHOLESALE PRICING

All prices are listed in South African rand. These prices exclude the cost of shipping, which will be calculated uniquely for each order. Prices are subject to change without notice. RRP is minimum 100% mark-up.

PAYMENT

Payments are made in full upfront may be made via Visa or Mastercard credit cards through secure gateway Payfast or by electronic bank transfers (EFT) into our bank account. All details are provided upon checkout. Should you prefer payment via EFT, complete the checkout and select the EFT checkout option and you'll be supplied with payment bank details once you 'complete order'. All credit card transactions take place via Payfast; an internationally approved payment gateway. Please note that you do not have to have an existing Payfast account to pay via credit card - you can simply make use of the PayFast platform on a once off basis.

If you have elected to pay via EFT, payment must be made within 24 hours and proof of payment needs to be mailed to info@klompceramics.com. Production will only begin on your order once payment has been made and proof of payment supplied.

Once your is complete we will notify you to arrange shipping. Should we arrange shipping, shipping invoices must be paid for up front, in full, before your orders are shipped out. Proof of payment must be sent to info@klompceramics.com.

LEAD TIMES

Lead times vary per order size but lead times are usually 4-6 weeks per order, unless some unforseen circumstance, such as a kiln malfunction or break-down, occurs. We do always endeavour to get orders out within the estimated lead times. In the unlikely event that we cannot start, fulfill your order on time or fulfill your order at all, we will contact you as soon as possible. Any of the order completed will be charged for and any order shortfall will be refunded if necessary.

DAMAGES / INCORRECT STOCK

Please inspect all shipments immediately upon arrival. Please contact info@klompceramics.com within 48 hours of receipt. If you receive a damaged / incorrect product from us, you qualify for a full refund or product replacement at our expense. Your replacement choice is subject to our stock availability.

Kindly note that goods are only classified as damaged if they are received damaged in which case you need to supply us with a photograph of the damaged goods. Cracks or breakage classifies as damaged. Items that are damaged during opening and from wear and usage are not considered faulty.

All our ceramics are handmade with an organic look and feel so receiving a product that differs slightly in colour, size, shape or pattern to what was viewed on your screen via the Klomp Ceramics website, social media pages, online catalogue or described in our pricelists does not warrant the good as faulty.

Klomp Ceramics is not responsible for returns, refunds or exchanges on faulty goods that have been overlooked and sold by our wholesalers. This must be dealt with directly by the approved wholesaler.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

Wholesale merchandise may not be returned or exchanged. We only accept returns in the case of damaged / incorrect merchandise as noted above.

CANCELLATION OF YOUR ORDER

We reserve the right to cancel your order anytime between receipt of order and shipment, for any reason, whether or not payment has been made. If payment has been made, you qualify for a full refund. Should you cancel your wholesale order any time after placing the order, you will be refunded after a reduction of 65% for international wholesale (50% order costs plus 15% administration fee upon total order cost) and 55% for South African wholesale (50% order costs plus 5% administration fee upon total order cost) ).

DELIVERY & SHIPPING

Once any outstanding funds reflect in our account, we will send your product out within two business days and supply you with a waybill number in order to follow up on the tracking of / enquiries relating to your parcel with our courier of choice: Dawnwing for local deliveries, UPS for global deliveries. We ship across the RSA and globally and ship during normal working hours Monday to Friday: not on Saturdays and public holidays. We will supply all goods to our delivery company in good order. The onus rests upon them to ensure the goods arrive at your chosen delivery address in the same good order. Once an order is shipped and the sale is concluded, the order is in the hands of courier service. Delivery costs and times vary and depend upon weight and final shipping destination. We can only ship to a street address and not to a PO Box number. Should no-one be present at the delivery address to sign receipt of delivery by their third delivery attempt, your goods will be returned to the shipping agent’s office, and it is your responsibility to collect them. We cannot be held liable for an incorrect shipping address supplied. Unfortunately, we cannot be held responsible for delays in delivery times caused by delays on the side of the courier. In event that a non-standard surcharge applies to your order we reserve the right to add this cost onto your final quotation. This includes, but is not limited to: after hour’s shipments, deliveries to high crime areas, farms, or game reserves, and special delivery requests. Insurance quotes for wholesale orders can be supplied.

Klomp Ceramics is not responsible for any international customs fees, duties or taxes incurred when shipping globally.

Klomp Ceramics products are packaged with extra care using bubble wrap and recycled shredded paper in double walled boxes.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

We own and are the licensees of all content depicted on the Klomp Ceramics website. This includes, but is not limited to all text, images, videos, logos, trademarks, designs etc etc. You may not copy, publish, distribute or use any of this content in any way for any purpose without our prior written consent. Any product designed or made by Klomp Ceramics, even if exclusively for a buyer, will always bear the Klomp Ceramics label and at most will read "Klomp for Buyer". Products labelled as such still fall under the Klomp Ceramics brand and remain the intellectual property of Klomp Ceramics. All Klomp Ceramics products must be sold as they are received, with no alterations made to the product whatsoever.
