How do I pay and is it safe?
Payment is easy.
South Africa & Namibia: we accept payments via bank deposit (EFT), via credit and cheque card through Payfast (no account needed to make payment) & via Snapscan.
International: we accept payment via credit and cheque cards through secure payment gateway Paypal. You do not need to have an account to make payment via either. We accept all Paypal supported currencies.
When and how will my order ship?
All orders ship from Cape Town, South Africa and will be processed within 3 to 5 working days of purchase. Should any products be out of stock I'll let you know immediately and check that you're happy with the lead time.
South Africa: Orders are delivered via courier to your door within 1-5 working days depending on your location at a flat rate fee of ZAR85. All parcels are tracked.
You are also more than welcome to collect from the Klomp studio in Cape Town CBD. Should you select this free option we will email you back to set up an appointment.
International: Orders are delivered via Expedited Mail Services to your door within 5-10 working days depending on your location. Please note any delays in customs may affect delivery time. All parcels are insured and tracked. Klomp Ceramics is not responsible for any duties or taxes charged your side.
All Klomp items are packaged with extra care in bubble wrap, then wrapped beautifully in paper ready to gift, and cushioned in double wall boxes.
Can I return items once purchased?
If you're unhappy or find there is a problem with your order please make contact within three days of receiving your order and we will try to assist you. In the event of an incorrect or flawed order, a full product refund or exchange may be given upon the safe return of the item, unused and in its original packaging. Return items must be properly packaged, so there are no breakages.
We accept returns only via door-to-door courier at your cost unless otherwise agreed upon. Shipping costs are non-refundable, unless otherwise agreed upon.

How do I view or buy past collections?
You can view products from past collections on the Klomp Ceramics instagram feed @klompceramics. Should you see something from a past collection you desperately want, mail us at klompceramics.com.
What can I expect from my Klomp Ceramics purchase?
All Klomp Ceramics items are unique, handmade stoneware pieces. Each piece is made and glazed by hand adding to its individual organic quality and character.
All pieces when glazed and sealed are done so using lead free, food-safe glazes & sealant unless otherwise stated.
I love and am proud of each and every one of my pieces, as I hope you will be when they pass over to you.
How do I care for and clean my Klomp Ceramics purchase?
It is possible to put our pieces, unless gold lustred, into the dishwasher and oven, however we do recommend washing by hand and placing pieces into the oven whilst it warms up to avoid thermal shock breakages. Colours of some glazes may fade with prolonged dishwasher use. Textured areas can be gently bristle brushed clean. If you prefer to hand wash, do so with warm soapy water and allow to dry thoroughly.
Using pieces in the microwave may lead to crazing.
Unglazed surfaces are sealed with a food safe natural sealant and are water and stain resistant, however corrosive chemicals in electronic dishwashing detergent may corrode the sealant over time.
I fire my stoneware clays to high temperatures which makes the pieces resistant and very durable. That being said we are constantly striving to improve the quality & durability of our products.
